Cynthia Wang is Director of Design and Digital Engagement at IBM. She leads a team of designers, developers, and other professionals to deliver applications that help IBMers consume and take actions on data and insights.

Prior to this role, Cynthia had a few leadership roles in IBM, including as Director of Cognitive Solutions, and Director of Storage marketing. Before joining IBM, she held several roles in the chemical and petroleum industry, with clients such as US National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA), the US Environmental Protection Agency (EPA), and large pharmaceutical companies.

Ms. Wang received her MBA in finance and general management from Columbia Business School in New York. She also holds Bachelor of Science and Master of Science degrees in Chemical and Petroleum Engineering. When she is not busy with IBM work, she is a volunteer at several non-profits such as 501Commons, Neighborhood House, and Seattle Urban Rest Stop.
